Building Boys & Girls Lacrosse Across Iowa

At the Iowa Lacrosse Association (ILAX), our mission is to promote the growth of lacrosse across Iowa. We strive to provide opportunities for all players, from youth to high school, to engage in this exciting sport and develop their skills.

Lacrosse in Iowa

Lacrosse is one of the nation's fastest growing sports. In Iowa, more than 700 boys and girls played competitive games during the spring 2024 season.

Promoting the Game

ILAX works with its member clubs and key partners (Parks & Rec departments, PE teachers, other sports teams and youth organizations) to expose children across Iowa to lacrosse. Our goal is to not only grow our existing clubs, but see development of new clubs.
